APRIL 2021 • SKYY9 CENTRE CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS

THE RIGHT MOVE

PAY LESS, GET MORE

As the SKYY9 Centre nears completion, air pollution is still a major problem in Bangkok, caused by the city’s suffocating traffic, and dust generated by construction and industry. Braving the pollution is a noxious and unhealthy necessity for the city’s workforce daily commute. In addition to this irritant, the majority of office workers also have to work in buildings that do not have sufficient air pollution protection levels. Much of the urban work force spends prolonged periods in office, where indoor air quality is a key determinant of their wellbeing. How can an office building in Bangkok now be classified as Grade A when it does not have PM2.5 protection both in common areas and individual offices?

The PM2.5 filters will be turned on when construction is complete once the SKYY9 Centre opens next month. In addition to the pollution protection system, building occupants can use the new rear entrance, providing direct access to and from Ratchadaphisek Road via Soi Pho Pan, thereby delivering two alternative ways of accessing the generous 840 space building car park.

Visitors to the SKYY9 Center will be impressed by the quality of the building, not least the provision of individual toilets to office units, avoiding the need to share facilities with other building occupiers.

We look forward to welcoming you!
